Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using all features provided by BattleTyping (the "Service"), including the typing speed test, real-time typing battle, keyboard tester and typing guides.

2. The Service

• The Service is free and requires no account. Advertisements may be shown on some pages.
• Features may change or be temporarily unavailable because of improvements, maintenance or outages.
• Typing results and ranks are BattleTyping's own fun measures and are not official certifications or test results.

3. User obligations

You must not:

• use abusive, obscene or hateful nicknames;
• use macros, auto-typing programs or code manipulation to obtain records or game results unfairly;
• place excessive load on the servers or interfere with the operation of the Service;
• impersonate other people or the operator.

If such behavior is found, the Service may restrict access for that user.

4. Advertising

The Service may display third-party advertising such as Google AdSense. Any transaction or activity on external sites reached through ads is the responsibility of those sites, and the Service is not involved.

5. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided free of charge. We are not liable for damage caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, network failures or your browser settings. Records stored in your browser may be deleted if you clear your browsing data.

6. Copyright

The design, code, practice sentences (excluding traditional proverbs) and guide articles of the Service belong to BattleTyping. Traditional proverbs are in the public domain. Fonts are used under their open licenses (SIL Open Font License).
